- What is Security Base? SecurityBase.com is a security and safety products retailer focusing on the physical safety of both commercial and residential properties, offering products at warehouse prices. We also sell products for identity theft prevention, self-defense, and survival gear.
- Do you sell gift cards? Not at this time.
- Do you offer any coupons or discounts? We offer coupons and promotions throughout the year. You can get a 10% discount for subscribing to our newsletter (up to $250 off). We also offer $25 off your second purchase if it exceeds $250. Discounts do not apply to shipping or inside delivery services and cannot be combined with other offers.
- How do I check the status of my order? If you created an account at checkout, you can log in to view your order status. If you didn't, call 800-616-0213 or email orders@securitybase.com. Please have your order number available.

- What kind of payments do you accept? Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, and Amazon Pay.

- Do you offer corporate accounts? We offer discounts on bulk and open purchase orders. Call for details.

- Do you accept purchase orders? Yes, for schools, hospitals, and government agencies.
- Do you have anyone who speaks my language? Call 800-616-0213 and ask for Sales. If not available, we will find someone who can help.
- Do you have a physical store? Not at this time. However, will-call pickup is available in North East Texas.
Shipping
- Do you offer overnight shipping? Yes, for items under 150 lbs. Oversized freight items are excluded.
- Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico? Yes, we ship worldwide.
- Do you ship outside of the United States? Yes. International customers are responsible for duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other import charges. If an order is refused, return fees will be charged to the card on file.
- Is pickup available? Choose “Will Call” at checkout. Pickup is available only in North East Texas.
- What is curbside delivery? The carrier delivers to your curb or loading dock. They will not bring items inside.
- What is White Glove Delivery? Our inside delivery service for safes, shredders, and filing cabinets. More info here.
- What is your return policy? See our return policy here.
- Do you offer free shipping? Free shipping is available on select safes.
- Where will my order ship from? We ship from up to 14 warehouses across the U.S.
- What is drop shipping? Items ship directly from the manufacturer.
- How long will delivery take? Transit times vary. Some products may require 6–8 weeks for production.
High Security Locks
- What advantages do high security locks have over standard locks? Better resistance to picking and cutting.
- Are electronic bolts hard to set up? Some require a certified installer. Combinations can always be reset.
- What are patent keys? Also known as restricted keyways. Unauthorized duplication can lead to penalties.
- Can I buy spare keys? Yes, with proof of ownership.

- Do I need a professional installer? Usually not, depending on the application.
Safes
- Which is better, mechanical or electronic locks? Electronic locks allow easy code changes; mechanical locks don't require batteries.
- Do safe measurements include the handle? Add 2–3 inches for handle and lock clearance.
- Are all safes waterproof? No. Check manufacturer specifications.
- Are pictures and film safe in a fire safe? Yes. Internal temperatures typically stay below 350°F.

- Do you offer installations? Yes, through our network of 3,500 technicians.
Access Control
- Do you carry parts for existing access systems? Most are available, though some models are discontinued.

CCTV Surveillance
- What is the difference between network and analog surveillance? Network cameras convert images to digital and send them over the LAN to an NVR. Analog cameras send images through coax to a DVR.
