The 88A Series is a part of PACLOCK's Transportation Line of padlocks. One of the big reasons PACLOCK’s TL line stands out is the fact that only PACLOCK can create and manufacture lines of padlocks that have the ability to cross key throughout. The 88A is specifically designed and manufactured for trailer coupler latches on campers, flatbed trailers, utility trailers, landscape trailers, enclosed trailers, and cargo trailers. The TL88A was developed in response to your request to be able to key all of the locks on your trailer together. There is no other coupler lock on the market that allows you to key the coupler lock into other locks on your trailer. The design of the TL series prevents any type of bolt cutter attack. The body is made from solid, 6061 aluminum billet and then precision machined in PACLOCK's manufacturing facility. Machining the body versus casting the body is critical because casted bodies can be easily defeated by melting the bodies with an off-the-shelf plumber’s torch. A body that was CNC machined from solid aluminum can hold up to the torch test. Don’t buy die-cast padlocks ever! As with all PACLOCK’s solid body padlocks, the 6-pin cylinder is best in class for pick, bump, rapping, or any other type of surreptitious entry attacks. These locks are guaranteed to have 6-pins and include special security pins that thwart would-be attacker’s attempts to get into your lock. These security pins are difficult to manufacture which means they cost more and is why your typical retail padlock does not include them. A variety of keying options are available.
