BEA Falcon EX Explosion/Flame-Proof Motion Sensor for Industrial Doors & Gates
BEA’s Falcon EX combines the Falcon/FalconXL microwave activation sensors with an explosionproof / flame-proof housing eliminating the “spark and arc” risk found within hazardous environments including mining, chemical manufacturing, petroleum refining and agriculture.
The Falcon EX can be mounted from 138 to 276 inches (11.5 ft x 23 ft) to fit any industrial application. For lower mounting heights, BEA’s Falcon EX XL can be mounted from 84 to 138 inches (7 ft x 11.5 ft).
The explosion proof housing is a NEMA 4X water-proof rated enclosure designed as an IP66 housing. This housing achieves UL Class I/ Division I, Groups B,C,D; UL Class II, Groups E,F,G and UL Class III
